Terms of Use

Claims Roundup ("Claims Roundup," "we," "us") operates claimsroundup.com and the Claims Roundup app (together, the "Service"), a professional network for people who work in the insurance claims industry. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• Give accurate information about yourself, your role, and your company, and keep it up to date.
• One person per account. Do not share your login or let anyone else use your account.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away at claimsroundup@gmail.com if you think it has been accessed without permission.

Claims Roundup is a professional space. When you post, message, comment, publish an article, or attend an event, you agree to:

• Treat other members with respect. No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination.
• Never share policyholder names, addresses, photos, claim numbers, or other confidential claim information without proper authorization.
• Not post copied, misleading, or defamatory content, or content you do not have the right to share.
• Not present legal, engineering, or coverage opinions beyond your qualifications.
• Label promotional content as Sponsored or Member Promotion, and use sponsor features for advertising instead of spamming members.
• Not impersonate anyone or misrepresent your licenses, credentials, or employer.
• Follow the reasonable direction of chapter organizers and moderators.

You keep ownership of the content you post. You give Claims Roundup a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service so it can work as intended, for example showing your posts to other members and including them in chapter digests.

You are responsible for what you post. Claims Roundup may edit, hide, or remove content, and may limit or suspend accounts, when we believe these Terms or the Community Standards have been violated.

Local chapters and their events are run by chapter organizers. Venues and other event providers are independent third parties. You attend events at your own risk and are responsible for your own conduct, travel, and expenses.

Some features, such as sponsorships, sponsored posts, and boosts, are paid. Payments are processed by Stripe. Pricing, duration, and any renewal terms are shown before you complete a purchase.

Sponsored content is labeled. Claims Roundup does not endorse sponsors or partners, and any agreement you make with a sponsor or partner is between you and them. Questions about a charge can be sent to claimsroundup@gmail.com.

Content on the Service comes from members, sponsors, and partners. It is shared for networking and general information only and is not legal, coverage, engineering, or financial advice. Verify licenses, credentials, and information independently before you rely on them.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access for anyone who violates these Terms or puts other members or the Service at risk.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claims Roundup is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the content or conduct of members, sponsors, partners, or event venues.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
