Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This policy explains what information Claims Roundup collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, and password, or the basic profile Google or Apple shares when you sign in with them.
- Profile details: your role, company, chapter, photo, bio, and any LinkedIn details you choose to import.
- Content you create: posts, comments, messages, articles, resumes, business cards, and uploaded images.
- Event activity: RSVPs and event check-ins.
- Sponsor and partner details: company information, listings, and campaign content.
2. Information collected automatically
- Basic technical information, such as browser type and server logs, needed to run and secure the Service.
- Browser storage used to keep you signed in.
- A push notification subscription, only if you turn on notifications.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe, and Claims Roundup does not store full card numbers. We keep a record of what was purchased, when, and the amount.
4. How we use information
- To run the Service: show your profile and posts to members, connect you with your chapter, and deliver messages.
- To send email such as event reminders, RSVP confirmations, chapter and partner digests, and account notices.
- To provide AI writing tools. When you use them, for example to draft a profile About section or improve a resume, the text you submit is sent to an AI provider to generate a response.
- To keep the community safe, including moderation and preventing abuse.
5. Who can see your information
- Your profile and posts are visible to other signed-in members.
- Messages are visible to the people in the conversation.
- Chapter organizers can see RSVPs and check-ins for their chapter's events.
- Claims Roundup administrators can access information when needed to operate and moderate the Service.
6. Service providers
We use service providers to host the app and database, send email, process payments (Stripe), and power AI features. They handle information only to provide those services to us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Your choices
- Edit your profile at any time.
- Unsubscribe from marketing and digest emails with the link in each email. Account and transaction emails will still be sent.
- Turn push notifications on or off in your browser or device settings.
- Delete your account in Settings. This permanently removes your profile, posts, comments, messages, articles, business cards, event check-ins, and uploaded files.
8. Data retention and security
We keep information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is removed. A few records are kept without your name attached, such as security audit logs, anonymous ad statistics, and events you organized for a chapter. Stripe keeps its own records of payments as required by law. We use access controls and encryption in transit to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
9. Children
The Service is for adults working in the claims industry and is not intended for anyone under 18.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Questions or requests about your information? Contact us at claimsroundup@gmail.com.
